OpenPPG is genuinely wild: an electric paramotor you strap on like a backpack and fly with — quieter than a two-stroke, batteries instead of fuel, and published CAD. The team has even posted a long uncut flight it calls a world-record electric flight-time attempt. We're flagging this hard, though, because it's not a maker novelty — it's aviation. You're leaving the ground under a large spinning propeller carried on your back, powered by a high-voltage pack. That demands proper paramotor training, not a weekend of tinkering. On top of that, this repo is CAD only — the frame, power-pack and hand-controller files — while the controller firmware sits in other OpenPPG repositories and openppg.com sells the finished paramotor; there is no published BOM or build guide. Admire the engineering; pursue it only within proper flight training and safety.
