Information you provide: when you save a workflow, subscribe, or contact us, we may collect your email address and the goal/workflow you entered.

Workflow inputs: the goal you type into the workflow builder is processed to generate your step-by-step workflow. We may store queries (and cache results) to improve quality and avoid repeated processing.

Automatically collected: standard technical data such as device/browser type, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from your IP, plus events like which tools you click.

How we use your information

To provide the service — generate workflows, return search results, and show rankings and news.

To improve the service — understand which workflows and tools are useful and fix problems.

To communicate — if you opt in (e.g. saving a workflow or subscribing), to send you the content you asked for. You can unsubscribe at any time.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember preferences, and measure usage with privacy-respecting analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some may affect functionality.

Affiliate and sponsored click tracking

Comparee is free for users and earns through partnerships with some AI tools. When you click a tool link, we may record that click (which tool, which workflow step, and the placement) so we can attribute referrals to our partners and improve recommendations.

This tracking is about the click event, not about building a personal advertising profile. Affiliate status is used internally only and never changes the factual information or ordering we show you.

Third-party tools

When you open an AI tool from Comparee, you leave our site and the third party’s own privacy policy applies. We are not responsible for how third-party tools handle your data.

Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Saved workflows and subscription emails are kept until you ask us to delete them; aggregated/analytics data may be kept longer in non-identifying form.

Your rights

Depending on your location (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email us at support@comparee.ai and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.

Data security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your data.
